Coldfire, a silver dragon.

Those who have been following my work for many years may remember the original coloring for this pic. I like the way this picture was drawn, but my coloring skills were a bit weak at the time, and he looked hardly more like a dragon made of ice rather than silver. Facing insomnia one night, I started recoloring this image again to help me pass the night. Needless to say, this is a much better effort.

This was the first commission I made in exchange for something other than money -- a used Pentium II processor, motherboard and video card, which were a much welcome improvement over the veritable POS computer (a refurbished NEC Ready) I was using at the time. On a side note, that Pentium II system was the first computer I had built out of parts that didn't turn out to be crap, and from that point on I have not bought brand name desktops, other than laptops.
