As you know, Eclipse has her horn broken. She can still do magic, but her magic has chances of failing or stop working due to the magic in her body don't flowing correctly.

Sometimes, things as simple as levitating stuff, can take lots of tries, or start to fail (like in the image), or maybe stop working all of the sudden.
It has more chances of failing or getting out of control depending on emotions like embarrassment, anger or sadness.

Sadly, unicorn horns can't grow back if they get broken by really dark magic, like in the case of Eclipse. So she will have this trouble forever.
