I now present you with “The Kiss” except genderbent and a lot less lava flowing from active volcanoes. XD
I had a few people ask me if I planned to draw “The Kiss” genderbent and while this is my answer to that, I had planned this out before I had been asked. I didn’t do it at the time, because I felt intimidated by the workload. And while it was a lot of work I STILL DID IT!! I made a four-page, full-colour, one-shot comic in 6 days!!
I did the best with what I had. I would have liked to have done the speedlines, word bubbles and text better, but to do that I would have had to import it to another program and the file was already big enough as it was. Also, I don’t have anything that can do speedlines well. I am thinking about purchasing MangaStudioEX if I keep up with doing comics (Which, I think I shall 83) so that I can execute things like that (as well as line art) more easily.
Also, I now understand why most webcomic artists submit a page a week. Doing all these colour pages so quickly has really drained me. The third page was the last page I completed and hoo boy was it hard to sit and do it. But in the end, I think all this work was worth it =)
And for anyone who's wondering why there pretty much isn't any dialogue, I'm practicing "Show - Don't tell." Trying to get across essential things without describing them in text boxes or having the characters comment on it.
If I ever find the inspiration to do so, I'll probably do other Sly Cooper based comics - both canon and genderbent ones ^_~
