Alrighty x.x; So I'm sorry this took me a few days shy of a month. That had not been what I was intending to do! I was having a bit of issues with drawing for a week and then some other technical difficulties but alas it is up!

So, the basic idea of the picture?  Ergo_Sum commissioned me to drawing a picture with Ergo [black-squirrel-human? He's tailless pretty much] and Ray[red squirrel to the right] playing a "friendly" game of chess. Now I do know a little about chess, and the internal battle and mental thing, gets to me. XD So needless to say I could relate to Ray's frustration! What's happening in this picture is Ergo is taking Ray's knight with his. Putting him closer to both his king and queen on the board. Which, if any of you have played chess before, knows this is not a good thing.

The background I pretty much just duplicated from a picture of Ergo that  Ergo_Sum linked to me for a reference. Now, Ray doesn't have a ref as far as I was linked. But I decided to put some pants on him because it just makes sense. XD And considering Ergo's styled pants, I figured it'd be pretty befitting to put Ray in something similar. The table is a little awkward as are the chairs, but please just overlook them for me. lol.

As for the lighting? I actually quite like how Ergo and most of the lighting/shading came out. Now.. for Ray? I'm if-y. I think I was a little off when shading him, but I couldn't get it to look any better sadly. ;^;

I think that sums up everything.. o.o; I think.
