I named her "Drew" after Nancy Drew, figuring she's the grown-up version of the famous female snoop, and because she'll probably befall what happened to Nancy whenever she got caught by the bad guys in the original stories.

Fans of the abandoned webcomic Academy Vale may recognize the pose as one by the comic's artist Andrew Thompson of The Imagerie (www.imagerie.com) of his feline character Tammy, who told me how flattered he was to see a variation on his work. Since he posted so much of his lineart , for someone trying to learn to draw it was a Godsend.
