My hellhound character in his anthro/humanoid form. Besides pain and suffering there's another intense feeling that's completely the opposite that can provide a lot of energy. It's not that hard to figure out what and his shapeshifting abilities are pretty helpful for it too.
His eye white is black.
He has five armoured tails with small heads that have a maws and eyes at the end of the tails, these heads are more animalistic and can act on their own but cannot move against the will of the main brain of the hellhound.
He has horns on his head.
His body has different covered parts, some are skinless muscles, some have skin and fur and some parts are armoured.
He's capable to breath fire and use magic attacks.
He's a five tailed hellhound, a sentient being of the underworld. In hell (in my story) thoughts, feelings and emotions from the living world from the souls that live there or end up down in the underworld become energy and hell's mass and energy. The more intense the feeling the more energy, the more complicated the more complex the structure will be including the birth of new demons. As of such hell survives and expands, demons feed of the energy or eat each other for more energy and mass. A way to provide oneself with a steady income of mass and energy is to trap a soul from the living world within it's own body and torture it to stimulate intense feelings that provide a lot of energy and mass for every soul captured.
Most demons are able to shapeshift, they can change the shape and size of their body but not their power. Hellhounds are also able to do this, being rather intelligent sentient beings they usually use their shapeshifting ability to mislead their prey and enemies.
This Hellhound character is rather powerful.
