An relatively simple drawing of an orca i put together yesterday, my first attempt at rendering something organic. First i sketched, scanned and tried to fill in the colors in PS, with just a mouse it was obviously a fools errand. I traced the sketch with a fine liner, added some details and tried again.

Magic wand for the win. In any case i love how the pen stripes showed up and I'm fairly happy with the result, even though the flukes are a tad too slim and the marking around the right pectoral fin is too angular.
