I have a blue ringed octopus in my queue, and today I made all the suckers for the arms, and sewed them on. All 64 suckers. I can't do anything simple.
Fun Fact: octopi do not have tentacles. They have arms. Tentacles only have suckers at the tips!

I kind of wanted to use actual plastic suction cups so that the arms could be stuck to things. But I don't think they'd be strong enough to hold on to vertical surfaces based on the size/weight of the rest of the body, and how small the suction cups would have to be to fit on the arms. Oh well. I love how the crocheted suckers turned out!
that would of been neat but it probably would have been a hassle trying to figure out how to do it. and i mean, i think pretty much most suckers will stick and eventually itll let go if its heavy, but id imagine the power would be multiplied if there were multiple ones. but honestly i like these ones. they are so cute and small ahhh i can't wait to see the rest. (:
