But in all seriousness, this is an important event in the character's life. After battling with his nemesis atop a volatile mountain range the earth begins to quake and sunder, splitting apart and opening great chasms deep into the womb of the world. Weakened and unable to fight back, his nemesis finds the upper hand, and he disappears into the yawning void, forever.

Corryn dies on impact. Yet, he is not entirely without misfortune. At the heart of the world lies something old; something ancient. A civilization that hasn't seen the sun since the world was young. An advanced civilization with technology unheard of to the surface. They find the grisly remains of half a head and - generously speaking - a quarter of a torso. Eons will pass, but Corryn will be reborn.
