Kate stirred awake in the double bed she and Lucy shared, rolling over half conscious in the morning sunlight. The warmth felt good on her serpentine form, providing the heat she could not regulate on her own. She attempted to swing her legs over the side of the bed, but she found her toes would not respond to her commands.

Opening her eyes, she sat up in surprise. "My legs! What's happened to my body?" She held her chest in confusion. Somehow she had transformed in her sleep into a more feral form, yet she still had arms. She was a naga, still partly humanoid, but closer to her ancestral anatomy. Had Lucy done this, in revenge for using the feral ray on her and turning her into a four legged pet for a week?

If that had been the case then why leave her with arms? No, something else must have done this. She moved her massive tail, learning how to move in this altered body. Once she had gotten the hang of controlling the complex muscles that allowed her to truly slither along, she giggled in pleasure. This was not a problem, it was a gift! She felt so powerful, a natural predator in this form! She did not know how long it was going to last, but she wanted to try everything this body had to offer!

Suddenly the front door closed, and she heard her lupine lover's whistling. "Oh, Lucy, come into the bedroom, won't you? I have something to show you... I hope you won't mind being a little wrapped up..."

"Kate, I'm only home for lunch, I have to be back at the office in... YIKES!" Lucy barely had time to react as the snake struck, wrapping her coils around her body, her fangs glistening inches away from Lucy's face.

She did not return to work that day, or for that matter, wear clothes the until the next morning...

Note: Yes, I noticed Kate is sans rattle, but I'm not complaining. Call it an effect of the transformation. :)
