So I'm doing a trade with  goldenfennec, who has sent me a lovely Rhapsody badge. This is one part of my half of the trade. An NP plush of their character Akuri!

 goldenfennec was truly awesome about this and went so far as to work up a ref for me based on the fur colours I already had. Now for the details! The pink details are all done with felt, except for the face markings, which I ended up painting on. The nose and barely-visible but incredibly cute fangs are made out of Sculpey and the eyes are painted cabochons provided by the marvellous  temperance. And as an added goodie, there's a squeaker in the chest. She squeaks when you hug her!

The trickiest detail on this particular plush was actually the long white tufts on the arms and legs. I ended up shaving down the majority of the plush, but left the fur long along these parts. Looks a bit more natural than sewing in an extra chunk of fur. ^^
