Been on a bit of an FMA bing so I though I'd go back and revamp an old character. The original Willis started out life as a fan character of the Original FMA. Later I recycled the name for a reoccurring vampire character. Now the original gets revamped as an FMA Brotherhood fan character. ^^

Willis walked down the hall from the bathroom as the day was just begining to start outside. He had a small home in the suburbs of Central. The sound of his automale footsteps was the only sound in the house. Willis sighed at this. Dating when your a State Alchemist typically wasn't easy. Made even less so for Willis. His automale tended to put people off and the minute they learned of his incontinence well it was either met with pity, disgust, or laughter. Of course this wasn't always the case but still.

Willis hadn't had an easy life. His brother died at the age of 6 when Willis himself was 10. His mother attempted to use him to bring his brother back. The Gate's tole was high. Willis lost three limbs and a few nerves. His mother lost her heart. Literally. What was created lived just long enough to screech before dieing. Willis was saved by his father.

After the failed attempt to bring his brother back Willis was fitted with some Automale. While recovering he discovered that his previous talent for Alchemy had been greatly improved. He needed only to clap his hands to perform it. In some cases not even that. This skill and his father's subsequent death lead him to join the military. He had a fairly good record and was the second youngest state Alchemist ever inducted.

During the Battle in Central during the Promised day Willis had joined combat aiding the soldiers of Briggs a few of which were actually cousins. It was during these events Willis discovered something about himself. During the combat he was nearly killed by a grenade. Bracing himself his skin and automale turned jet black. After the dust cleared he was left unhurt. Willis had heard stories about this. His father had told him that it was something his grandfather was able to do. He even had some photos. His grandfather was a tall mane with spikey black hair and a white fur rimmed vest and quite an imposing grin.
