Well Calamity is the physical embodiment of calamity, and the robes worn keep it contained within itself, but if you cut the bindings calamity begins to change, and a bunch of bad stuff will go down from earthquakes and volcanoes to stars in the sky explodin, but I figure in the mlp-verse it wouldnt be quite so dramatic :3
