Starcatcher Feature: Bloodhound_Omega
So... I don't know. First: I_didn't_butcher_that_fullmoon! Something happened while I scanned it or while ... gimpshop did something to it. I really don't know. *sigh* So... it looks like a full moon in real. =_=
Starcatcher Feature part II is uploaded before part I.
The reason? Yeah, I wanted to practice on my own character first, because I wasn't sure about how this would come out. But I left it at my parent's place for some reason that is called stress-syndrom I guess. ^^;
So here we go...
Halloween Feature Part II: BloodhoundOmega
Why the heck do I do this Halloween Features? Because... Samhain is the most important vacation for me. I wanted to reward those people I love for one reason or another, those people who gave me something, those people I like, who are great and who helped me to develop my art in some way, at this date.
So at first, I want to reward:
bloodhound_omega
Starcatcher. Catching the stars, that means: get your dreams on paper, make them a bit more real, let them become solid in a way, so that you can express yourself. Your wishes, dreams, thoughts, feelings. Everything.
Bloodi already catched a star, because she is great. Her art is awesome, her style is unique and she created a whole adorable world. She is willing to share her knowledge and her world, her creativity, charme and wits with other artists like me. She helped me a lot and I wanted to reward her.
Thank you for encouraging me, practicing with me, watching films, talk about nice and silly things, being there, trying to help and just be that gentle and adorable person you are.
Thank you.
Let's catch even more stars together in the future.
I hope you like it... even if I gave Bloodi a slender touch, my style - so to say. ^^; He looks rather skinny and un-fluffy, I am sorry, I did my very best, promise... and... the tail, well it said - long and flexible tail... I made it VERY long and VERY flexible.
I am sorry. I hope you like it anyways.
*bows in deep respect*
balorkin aka Axis aka Loki
PS:
The Kubi's name is Comet. He is... an extra gift for you. I gave him to your character... so... that he could also have something from me. ^^; From Loki, perhaps, dunno why. But I promised you a colored Kubi and I didn't manage to finish one in time for your contest.
So here you got a male not fully grown up little one for fun. ^_^;

I don't know what to say without repeating what I already said on DA, but I can't and absolutely don't want to leave this uncommented here!
I love this piece, every single bit of it. Not for the praise hidden in it, but for the sweetness and kindness of the gesture behind it! 8o
Even though I didn't want to repeat myself I just _have_ to mention that tail again! *squeaks* Soooo thick and fluffy! Wonderful! And I must say, as far as I am allowed to say that, I am very prowd of how you handled the black fur! Knowing how much colouring seemed to trouble you, you did an excellent job with a fur colour, most people I know see as the toughest one to draw! :D
And it hasn't been until now that I noticed that Comet as gift, too! D'awrrrr! More exotic fuzzes to add to Bloodi's collection of animal companions, which (strikingly) seems to consist mainly of male pets... weird... now that I think of it. XD I really should draw a piece with Bloodi and all his little fuzzy friends one day.
*snuzz* Really... I don't know how I can thank you for that... or that is... I might have an idea... *smiles mysteriously and starts typing a note* ^____^

*huggs her tightly* I am very proud how I was able to handle the fur-color... but I am still far beneath you and your extraordinary skill... I was thinking of how to handle his fur, because it is more fuzzy than the neat fur of Cody was. I think I failed. ^^; But it doesn't look so_bad.
I could have done better, I used a reference from one of your recent pictures, but hey - this is a matter of practice, I guess. ^^; I have no routine. =p
I am so glad that you like the tail! XD

Kommt drauf an, was ich dir zeichnen soll.
Very good imagination. I like this picture, because you enter into a story that is "relating" when one looks at the image. To achieve this, it is very difficult and important for an artist.
Muy buena imaginación. Me gusta mucho este dibujo, porque te introduce en una historia que se está "relatando" cuando uno mira la imagen. Lograr eso, es muy dificil e importante para un artista.
