Ah wow, thanks a ton! I want to make him more blue, so hopefully when I go to the painting phase it kind of gleams in a cool way. I just used really minimal values for now though, mm!

I've never really considered Flash as a doodling program, but you seem to make it work beautifully!

It has a very fluid pen style that I like especially for some reason. I'm just very fond of it because I've had a lot of experience with it, and I know not a lot of people consider Flash as a serious drawing program, so I call it my own little gimmick when I draw. Hopefully in the future I can prove that I'm not only a man of tricks and techniques, but am substantial in my own right!

No need to apologize at all!
I don't really think using Flash is a gimmick at all. Using 1,000 brushes in Photoshop is a gimmick (in most hands). If anything, limiting your resources as you are shows that you really are a talented artist and don't need to rest on fancy brushes and textures.
Granted, I'm a sucker for anything remotely minimalist, so maybe that's what's getting me about this piece.
At any rate, keep doing what you're doing and don't apologize for it!

Ah man, I super appreciate it! I will try to branch out and do cooler things in the future, see what types of effects I can use to polish my pieces.
