The navigation is fairly bland and doesn't fit the style of the rest in my opinion, and the floating advertisement at the top isn't very appealing and could be worked into the design a slight bit more. Also, you should be able to modify the width of the Livestream video player so it fits the width of the container fairly easily.

Other than that though it's fairly well done. ^^ A few minor mistakes outside of the ones mentioned above but nothing that's going to be all that noticeable to an average user and it's certainly a design that would work. ^^

The site itself was designed by my supervisor and programed with an outside source. The programing is actually a bit off and your right. Some sites have shifty buttons.

But Discovery has its own brand and while it is bland on some levels ( I agree) its what we stick to when designing.

I'm not allowed to go outside and be creative on this one :X

Yeah, it's a bit disappointing that you're not able to present much outside the box to an established brand, but the logo is very well done. ( Mostly why I didn't touch on it before since it really doesn't have any issues. XD )
