Maaaaan this is awesome! You really don't need color the black and white shading makes for a dramatic lighting anyways. I really love how you shaded around his head particularly. This is rather epic! Thanks I really appreciate it!
Btw what do you mean by don't spam it?

I know what ya mean, it drives me nuts when someone can draw like DaVince or norman rockwell and have the nerve to say their work sucks. makes me Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
Please if you feel motivated to color it go for it, its primarily shades of translucent yellows or give it your own feel! I'll up load a few other robots I did and link them if you'd like. That way when you have a slow day you can mess with one of them if that's what ya wanna do. Hit me with a note in about a week or so and I'll do a pic for you if you'd like as well, doesn't have to be a robot lol, probably wouldn't look as good anyways lol.

I've been kinda looking around for someone to do a kewl profile pic for FA for me. As much as I'm practicing, im not quite at the "furry art" level just yet. Cutsie stuff doesn't seem to emit from my pencil. I used to draw just primarily comic book art, as Todd McFarlane (best artist EVER IMO) does. I learned alot from books like "How to draw comics the Marvel way", and stuff. Later on I explored into Anime (assumed it was an easier style), and it seemed to change my art to its, Americanized anime style, I suppose I could call it.
I am kinda drolling on, but I guess what I mean is, the more avenues and styles I practice, the better and more unique my art becomes. Imagine my art after I master furries :3

On the contrary foxxsiker.
Black and white art allows you and the viewer to focus more attention to detail and evokes a different set of advantage over colored artwork. A tougher form of art to get good at, but well worth the effort. And you also chose a difficult subject by inking organic and inorganic matter. The armor is more difficult to get down since it requires smooth lines, unlike a living subject. Still you did a great job with the inking here!
