you can really see people's veteran status in the fandom when they recognize the ref pic used to do this pose :P and yeah i'm positive it was a Marci pic

It was. It was AC 2001 that it was commissioned from her. I remember, because I was standing next to the dude who commissioned it. I don't know his name, however. But he actually had a real-life pic of him as a kid in that pose that the Marci pic was based on.

It looks great in your style, but I can't get past the fact that it's basically a copy of the Marci pic. It's just a mental thing. You didn't steal her style or anything, or trace. It's just a personal quirk.

Oh no, you misunderstand me. I wasn't saying you were tracing it. I was just saying that that's just what my mind instantly jumps to. Comes from seeing a lot of art thievery over the years. I know that you didn't. It's more a subconscious thing, ya know? It still looks great!
