Lol, Cake/Pie crossbreeds have been done- AMAZINGLY.
I'm sure you've heard of cheesecake and strawberry shortcake- but look at these:
Black Forest Cake with Chocolate Ganache and Cherry Pie Filling icing
Peach Pie Cake
Then theres pie layer cakes (pie filling in place of icing layers):
Pecan Pie Cake
Apple Pie Cake
Marshmallow Banana Cream Cake
And of course, Dump Cakes (dumb the ingredients into a pan, bake- cake!)
