if its static, how did it, according to the card in the lower left, in front of the case, "power fares between 1984 and 1989"? unless i'm completely reading that wrong. is it a model of a model or something. certainly i've seen live steam in 3 1/2" gauge, with people actually riding behind on rider cars that hang down on both sides of an elevated structure for 3 1/2" live steam to run on.
i'm not doubting this is as you say, only a static display, but it makes me wonder if either this might be a retired live steamer no longer functional, or if there was one built and this is a non-working copy of it, or what.
i'm not able to read everything it says on that card, but from the words visible on it, these questions are raised.
perhaps the whole actual text, in fully readable form would clarify this somewhat.
