Ohhhh, I love muscular alligator and/or crocodiles. They have a certain design about them that makes them attractive in a unique way.

Yeah, crocodiles and alligators are really strong and big, so they have big muscles. They're as much as non-anthros, making them attractive and hot ^^

I see, you chose the "backlight shading" option (light source behind the character), which I've prepared for you. I forgot to mention that this backlight is usually great for comic panels and dramatic scenes... and less good in pin ups. But anyway, it fits to the gloomy swamp and... I'm glad you used my shading here. ^^ It's something new, after all!

You still didn't use ALL the lines I've provided... and some muscles are still wrong. Worst of all: the right leg! I've done a correction sheet for you, but you didn't follow it entirely... and the calves are wrong again! -..-
I thought when I provide you with a large correction sheet, you'd follow all the corrected lines... whatever.

About the MATURE and ADULT version now.

MATURE VERSION

I'm sorry, but this looks really horrible! This genital slit makes absolutely NO sense, because we can see an obvious bulge (caused by a hanging penis) through the loincloth. If I had know he had a SLIT... I would've drawn the loincloth differently. -..-
Furthermore, the slit's position is way TOO LOW!!! I mean, you've placed it almost between the legs, like a vagina... and somehow, it's coming out of the belly... pointing upwards. I think, it should be a bit higher.
The balls are ridiculously small!

ADULT VERSION

The penis does not look believable. It's way too small AND way too bright. I mean, we can argue about size and thickness all day and never come to a conclusion. But the penis really looks... glued to the body. Or just poorly attached to the body.
Also, it strongly reminds me of "Reptile's" penis...


CONCLUSION

The character's pose, design and appearance is strong, heavy, powerful and quite good! It really looks like a huge alligator, who has strenght and mass. He looks fierce and it's a believable version of an "anthro-alligator", indeed. ^^

I'm sorry, but... I really see NO sense in showing us a "mature" and "adult" version here. Okay, it's a "bonus"... but Kevin, this is FurAffinity! I mean, you can upload the nude/adult stuff to THIS site, too! No problem.
But what IS the problem now? I'll explain it to you.
This picure is not a "posing character sheet" in term. It's a scene... we can see the character in his environment.
So... why did you draw him with slit and penis, at all???
This seems like "fan service" to me... okay. But the problem is: it does NOT serve any purpose!!!
The exposed penis is erected... this usually happens when the creature is aroused in any way. But he does NOT LOOK aroused!! He's just walking there.
Like: "Hmm... what's up? Oh, there's a tree. Aw, I got a boner. Why not, big deal!"

You know what I mean? If this is only "fan service", I rest my case. Alright.
But the exposed penis does not serve any purpose here and I cannot see any reason why this guy should be in sexual arousal.

People who know me also know that... this is even a "short" comment - compared to my other comments. XD Yeah, look... I never fave any artworks - but I reward the artists with a large, mostly constructive comment.

Sadly, even I cannot be constructive ALL the time... when I've worked WITH an artist together... and when I've done corrections after corrections... advise after advise... and nobody listens.
This sadly happens and can be aggravating.

Your backlight shading is better and varied, so I decided to make some new type of shadow castings whenever the light source comes from the top-front. :)

Do you meant ALL? Well, I would say that not all of your red-lines I followed to trace and re-draw the muscle lineart. In my opinion doing with correction lines can be estimated (a possibility of more-or-less success), so I do this technique.

Okay, I know you never seen my two other versions before its submission. I will re-work on the loincloth, genital slit and balls, and enlarge the penis (but, how is it too bright even if the backlight shading covers his frontal body and flat colors?)
About his penis resembling to Reptile, I did some references from few of your SoFurry artworks to find "front penis" in perspective

Since you told that "he does does not look aroused" I will replace his facial expressions into "smirk" and "horny" on both pictures. This will be better to be done.

And, because you did more corrections about two pictures, I will submit them to scraps.

Though I really have three suggestions:

1) Do NOT change the CLEAN version anymore! You will spoil it.
2) I would change the penis design into somethinz of your OWN fantasy. Make it look weird, unique, whatever... but make it bigger nd your own!
3) Try to work with different light sources yourself next time. The character will improve by that.

And YES: when you get a CS you have to follow ALL THE RED LINES!!!!!!
