To most, these are nothing more than vague scenes of obscure locations; but to some, these scenes fill our minds with the warm fog of nostalgia and oblige our hearts with the jubilant pang of days long past. In this world, some of us are lucky enough to return to these locations and bask in their nostalgic warmth; but for some, these places are taken from us by the greed-soaked hands of man and condemned to exist as memories and nothing more. Despite their destruction, such fragments as this pixelated shard of dulcet bliss sometimes remain to spur our nostalgia on anew whenever needed. But despite their tenacity, our memories are woefully similar to the vessels that hold them; mortal and fleeting. As where the tangible can be taken from us by tangible hands, the intangible can be taken from us by intangible hands. Where time gives us a bounty of blessings in our lives, it also plagues us with a myriad of plights as our lives progress further, for all that is mortal are cursed as the playthings of time. Bit by bit, time takes these cherished memories that give us so much warmth and solace and shape us into who we are. As time steals away the last slivers of our memories, it leaves us with nothing....as nothing...nothing more than empty beings, with nothing to look to but a dim present and a dreading future. This modest scene is one of the many that have met the misfortune of being wiped away like useless clutter by human callousness.

Could someone help me out on why my thumbnails don't appear to be showing up. I'm so sorry to hassle you all, but I just need a little help.

Thanx, dude. It is in Texas, but it used to be here in Belton near where I live. It sure is amazing how many places look so similar, isn't it? And it's so wonderful how such place give us solace amidst the harshities in our chaotic lives and help us regroup for toworrow's surprises. It so nice to know how close some people are. Though I'm sure you'd agree with me when I say that the weather's been a BEEECH recently. Thank you again for the comment. =^w^=
