Ahhh, it's been far too long since I've done a personal piece more than just a sketch here and there. My fiancee,  kamiki has been prodding me that I need to take some time, do something I want to do and would be a good portfolio/technical piece.

So this is the result! We just moved to a new home, and our living room color scheme is kind of "river stone" based, so I wanted to paint something that I can make a nice large print of and frame/hang in the living room so I have art by me hanging in the house :3

But while landscapes are fun to paint, I wanted to do more than just that - and play up both our favorite fairy tale - Little Red Riding Hood - as well as a nod to our original characters, Ambrose and Angelina. So the Big Bad Wolf's coloration here is based on Ambrose's wolf-form colors, and Little Red here is based on Angelina.

I also wanted a fun portfolio piece to do that integrated a natural wolf and not anthro or werewolf to diversify my art.
