Incredibly interesting, but creepy. Just makes me curious as to what they possibly looked like or how old they was and stuff o.o"

Hehehe <3
Not to mention there is this http://www.bodiestheexhibition.com/
Some people just need to realize that any living thing including us humans can be preserved.
I even see human mummification as a type of taxidermy it's amazing how after uncovering a dead pharaoh for so many years and see his skin so well preserved on his skeleton amazes me.

Oh yeah, I hadn't thought about that display, and I see ads for it all the time!
I don't see anything wrong with taxidermy - I may have some issues with fashion fur, but not with pelts, bones, preservation, etc. I think it's a wonderful thing to do. :D
People see it and just assume the animal was killed JUST to be turned into a pelt, and 99.9% of the time, that's not even the case.
They mean well, but they have no idea how things work. -_-
And you're right, it's NOT just animals, and now I can bring that up, too. xD

I also don't agree with fur fashion seeing how some fur ranches leave the animals in horrid conditions and killed only for the fur while leaving the flesh and bones to rot on the side. The animals could have been kept healthy and clean plus given the fullest respect. Plus believe it or not fox meat is edible just like wolf meat is. I wouldn't mind trying it once just to see how it taste. I know I have tried bison meat and it was delicious *w*
I do blame PETA for their live skinning video it has made some people shun everything that involves fur and hunting.
Here is something you might like too http://www.onlineschools.org/visual.....mages/peta.jpg

Haha, I will admit I have a weird feeling when it comes to eating carnivorous animals, but I think it's mostly because I feel weird eating meat of something that ate meat. xD But, I'm SURE if it was prepared and put in front of me, I'd be pretty tempted to taste it. xD
I've never had Bison, but I have had, and LOVE venison. I can't have it often, because my family and boyfriend are squeamish about it (why?), but my friend's mom prepares it for me when I provide her the meat (we get it from a hunter who is a friend of the family), and she makes AWESOME food out of it.
Also, I hate PETA sooo very much, thank you for showing this to me!
I had a FEELING they paid more for ad campaigns than for helping animals...looks like that hunch was correct. -_-
I am all for protecting animals from unnecessary cruelty, but PETA's desires (and methods) are....well, insane! No interactions with animals at all...? No pets...?
But the sad thing is, a lot of people don't look into what PETA really wants (which is made very plain even on their website!) and they just assume they help animals, so they support them. I try to keep my comments to myself, when I see people with PETA stickers or shirts, but I really want to explain to them that by supporting PETA, they are supporting the extinction of dogs and cats - that is something PETA strives for, so it make sense that they euthanize so many!

After hearing some reviews on carnivore meat I hear they are stringy but taste good. Then again I know people who have eaten squirrel, bears and cougars o:
Bison meat is common here in NY state it is said to have less fat and is very healthy for the heart. I never heard of venison though o.o
Well every year they make super bowel ads in which ends up getting banned. Commercials can cost up to a million dollars depending how much is put onto it. I heard horror stories how peta members used to kidnap people's pets to set them free or be put to sleep. They were against the fact that dogs and cats are meant to be free.
Don't get me started on their blogs one of them showed a cat that was ran over it's eye was popping out and everything. I think the blog was something about how people should be careful for animals crossing the streets. >_<

Oh! Sorry, venison is a fancy word for "Deer meat" xD
So it's just deer. x3
And it's soooooo good. D;
So much better than beef.
I'm careful enough when I'm driving not to hit animals - I don't need PETA to disturb me into being careful.
I haven't hit an animal yet, and when I do, I am going to feel like shit, I don't need them to tell me to feel bad about it. -_-
And I have heard horror stories about people working with PETA kidnapping pets - including a classroom pet rabbit. Apparently they broke into the school, took the rabbit, and left propaganda pamphlets all over the classroom. ...The kids all made pleas on the news to have the rabbit returned, but of course, it was not. -_-

Ohh xD I wanna try deer!
Ditto on that I know my mom felt like shit when a bunny crossed her path she tried to get out of the way but sadly it was too late.
Also that right there is just disgusting those poor kids I can't understand why they would do such a thing. ;_; Poor bunny and kids...
On the other note I just saw a very disturbing submission just now in Deviant Art e.e... Why would someone in their right mind post a half skinned house cat thinking that it is ok?
