So this is what this guy looks like after he sheds his egg-skin. He's all fresh and such, and tonight was the first attempt at feeding. I left those who had shed already alone. He is gorgeous already! He's definitely staying with me for a while if he has a good appetite.
Now the hard part...trying to think of a name for this handsome man!
This guy is an Ultramel Stripe het anery possible het hypo corn snake. Ultramel has been found to actually be a type of hybrid. This is many generations in, but that is okay. (The original hybrid came from a corn and a grey rat snake).
So guys, help me think of names. Nothing too crazy please...I like unqiue names.

Nope! Corn and rat snakes are in the same family. They can breed between one another naturally in the wild and their offspring can still produce kids. Same goes for crossing a corn and a king snake together - you can easily cross the kids together. I think in certain cases there might be some sterility, but believe me...Corn/Rat snake and Corn/King snakes definitely are not sterile. xD
Ah, it might be a regional thing! Sorry. ^_^; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ribbon_candy and http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-rVtSk49Yi.....0/PFO11713.jpg for more colors.
