What I've been spending my last few weeks on. Thanks to the lovely AgentBlyaze for showing me how to make these. The pink, white and black was my first attempt, the orange fox on the left my second.
These beauties are why there's nothing else up. Hah!

Well, I'm just doing this to get rid of yarn I have.
A french braid rope thingy I put a wire in the middle of. Cheap white yarn.
Wrapped the yarn around something. Cut it. Tied the middle of bunches of fives. Sewing it onto the core from the center. \.-./ I have no clue what I'm doing. When I'm making one when I DO know what I'm doing, I'm going to get amazing yarn and make a better one. This is just practice.

There are a lot of tutorials out there on the interwebs for you to watch. You tube has more video options on fursuit and yarn tail making than you might think.
Agent Blayze and I both use Simply Soft, which depending on where you can get it can be a bit expensive, but worth the cost.I'm trying some of the I Love This Yarn! brand which I think will work out fine.
If you want a visual idea of how awesome these can turn out, look for the work of Bir or Ziaki.
