Nell was chasing down a suspect when she turned a corner an there were more than she could handle. Eventually they fled when they heard the sirens. So she takes a breather. Few ribs fractured and some internal bleeding but she is more concerned with wanting to chase them down as the hideout is in the area.

I can't word right now, story sounded better in my head..
