The first four characters are the playable characters in the game. Now let's switch gears and focus on some major NPCs.

Prof. Xenon here is one of the head scientists of Minimus City’s science division, and is also the commander of Hydrogen’s team in the MPA. He is a bit more reserved than the other scientists, but his research in geology and psychiatry has earned him the reputation, “Mr. Minimus.” When he’s not busy with his research, he will brief Hydrogen and his allies on what their next mission is. With the sudden outbreak of mutants, the Professor is pulling out all the stops to bring order back into the once peaceful city! Once the team is dispatched, The professor will communicate to them through their helmets to guide them through the level. Don’t worry, you can still move and fight while Xenon is talking! For instances he’s off doing something else, mission duty falls to the newly appointed second in command, Ms. Oxygen.
