This is a plate I'm working on for an autumn display at a local library. I did the outer rim by pressing leaves into wet paint and then adding some definition with a wipe-out tool. I couldn't decide on what to do in the middle, so I thought about the colors...and decided on a fox. I seldom do 'realistic' animals, so it was a bit of a stretch for me. Again, I put down colors and pulled the design out of the color with a wipe-out tool and brushes.
The red lines are from a pen I used to draw the design, and will dissappear during firing. I can't wait to see what it will look like then!
