rascal and mortimer (anecdote in the comment)
before we got tiki so rascal would have someone to play with, we got him a stuffed ferret named Mortimer :) Every day he would bring Mortimer to his bowl for breakfast, up and down the slide to explore his cage, and prance around the room with his little buddy. At night i would watch rascal carry his little friend up the spiral slide and through the tiny hole in the shelf to get to his bed so he could put him down for his beddy by time. It's been about a year now and since then Mortimer has become smelly, slightly crusty, and tattered, rascal has received a new friend "tiki" and yet has never forgotten his Mortimer. Now the three of them spend all of their time together, as the happy ferret friends :)

not sad, if anything the ferret friends are finally complete he still cuddles his Mortimer and the three of them play together. But I gotta say, once a ferret's favorite toy gets ferret smell on it, it's darn near IMPOSSIBLE to get it out no matter how many times you wash it haha
