It's been 10 years since Junjo Romantica began its publication and I have to give compliments to Nakamura Shingiku for her steady improvement over time. As time has passed the story has changed from the penultimate Yaoi cliche to actually being about the characters growing and developing their relationships.
Nowaki and Hiroki have been my favourite couple through it all as they've been the most "realistic" through it all. And while the complication in their relationship is trouble communicating, they do work through it.
