For my good friend and Guardian partner
gavin.amos,
I remember going to a session with my psychologist and discussing my protective nature. I told her these characteristics of mine, and she told me that more people like that are needed in the world.
While all that may be good and true, it just does not compare to someone. Care to guess who that someone is?
Here’s a hint. If I were to open up a dictionary right now, and flick to the ‘P’ section, and looked up ‘Protective,’ it would say ‘See: The Dark Wolf.’ If I went to ‘Loyal,’ ‘Dedicated’ and ‘Trustworthy,’ the definitions would all point me in the same direction:
‘See: The Dark Wolf.”
Because, Gavin, you are a true protector. Through every single of my hours of need, you have always told me the things that I needed to hear. You are loyal: when I’m feeling down, you remind me that you are there to talk to. You are dedicated: never once have you left my side. And I feel that I could trust you with anything.
Gavin, those words were created for someone like you, for you are the essence of a true Guardian. I am honoured to be friends and Guardian partners with you, so, I offer you this little gift of the Dark Wolf bringing the light.
Thank you for your compassion, my friend!

Well, here's the definition of Prodigious (There are 2 and they fit in well.):
1: extraordinary in size, amount, extent, degree, force, etc.
2: wonderful or marvelous.
Yes, your draw is that way.
(Et je peux noter, je parle francais aussi, mais moyen. Je veut avoir un peu de practique. )

I know, I feel like that too most my friends are far better than me. I messed up my art big time when I failed my a level and that kinda killed my enjoyment of it for months on end.
The thing is we shouldn't judge are own work by others, we should judge by what it good for our own level.I improve my own work by studding all the time. Reading books, sketching and watching others draw. My work takes hours at a time and I get very down about it sometimes because i don't feel i compare to those I look up to. However other people seem to like it and that makes me feel good.
I like your work as do many other. I see you improving all the time. Just keep trying, never lose faith in yourself Tene.
As for the difference between traditional and digital, BOTH are good who ever says other wise is silly.I have seen traditional kick the digital art work to the floor lots of times.
You need to be able to draw well traditionally before you can do well digitally or at least thats what I think. I practice art traditionally often but never post it cuz my scanner is evil and most of it it just for practice. All kinds of art are important in this world, digital, traditional, audio, sculpture and nature itself.
Beautiful things come in all forms and one of those forms is this picture. Be proud for what you have done because you did it, not because it looks better than someone else's.

My own level isn't that bad...I only took Art to GCSE, and I got an A. So there's some talent in me somehere...
I have tried watching stream sessions, but I always leave after five minutes, crying of embarassment and shame...
And I can't help but compare. I can't understand why people bother with my...stuff...when all they have to do is look at any other user to see some truly amazing work.

you got better at art than me at that level, I got a D Shame is a hard thing to overcome and I havent really got over mine. I just stick my fingures in my ears and dont listen to it, instead I listen to others. and then only the kind ones or the constructive critism of a close friend. We bother with your stuff because its good. Your art work is really coming along and I am enjoying seeing you develop as an artist !
As I have said to you before, I have depression too. I too have been put down all my life. My farther was an abusive drunk, my mother is needy and is forever taking up a life that should be mine to live. My eldest brother has a restraining order against him as he threatened my life ! I have been bullied at all my schools and at work. So i know what its like to be 'put down'.
unfortunately the badness never ends and as much as friends help me it comes to me to help myself for the most part. the strength to go on and see a good side comes from within and we all have it. If you didn't have it you wouldn't see the 'good side' in others. My personality has changed much over the years and I have become stronger.
You will too, you just have to pull the strength up and keep fighting.
Im sorry If I am upsetting or bothering you with my comment so i'll stop now.
