No problem :3 I like it too and have thought about a watercolor + crosshatching (with pen) approach to coloring before, but I don't have a good enough control over watercolors really xD particularly my color mixing. I can mix colors, but not consistently, so when I run out of my initial mix and try to mix more of that same color I end up with something different xD
Yeah I had that same problem with acrylics but my painting teacher just had me keep going and practicing with it and I eventually was able to do it consistently and he was quite impressed at my mixing skills, another good method would be to mix way more than you need and put the excess in a film container for later : }
