Here they are! They survived the night, have milk bands, and they're looking good! She's being a good mama. :)

So do you have some kind of point or ethic grounds or are you just trying to be a fucking cunt?
I'm quite aware of the implications of breeding rats unnecessarily, and trust me-- this was NOT on purpose.
I was sold a female rat at a young age, told it was male, and didn't notice until it was too late.

Dawww so cute. Yea I found my female escaped her cage and pried open my elder males cage door (wire cages) and now she is preggo and do in a few days. Like you it was unplanned, but at least we as the owners take responsibility.
I wish you luck in finding good homes for them...I too will be doing that soon myself (once they are born, and of appropriate age)

Yeah, I'm finding Craigslist can be a helpful place as long as you spend some time meeting the people in person, haha. The girl who took my older boys offered to help rehome the new litter, so I shouldn't have to much trouble. I had two other people email me wanting the big boys so I told them that I adopted them, but I've got a new litter and once they're of the age they'll be available, plus I might keep one or two, depending. And the person who is taking the girls -might- want a female, I'd wager.
