8 Character Cel Shaded Commission for 
mahiri
THE BEHEMOTH IS COMPLETE! :O This huge commission was, as I'm sure you all guessed, for the wonderful Mahiri yet again! I expressed interest in doing a piece with reptiles and amphibians, and he asked if I wanted to do a whole party image of them, to which I was like "HELLS YES!" I really love reptiles, more than mammals I think, and I don't get too many opportunities to do them so I jumped on this. It was really fantastic to work on to be honest. I had a blast!
I tried a number of new things this time around. The main thing was some simple backlighting, which you can see with the various colored strips along the darker parts of each critter's body. It really made each individual character pop, which is important in such a large and colorful image. And I've also been loving the glow effect lately, so I snuck it in here too! So eye-catching. :D
Enjoy everyone! It's nice to have some more big examples of my cel shaded style. And a special thanks to the good ol' Mahiri, for continuing to commission me and being such an awesome person in general. :)
