I don't know what much else to say besides the fact that your shading skills are amazingly crisp, yet very smooth on each of the characters.
I also like the foreshortening you put on the wings, making the one on Gadir's left wing (in his view) bigger than it seems. But it seems in place.
I wish you could post more. I also wish I could learn more Japanese too, even though I'm studying furiously through the help of internet, certain people, and a Kanji book that I bought. Even though it looks like you're writing in Hiragana.
But, that's besides the point.You did a great job with everything, including the little reflections of the waters, to the cutness of the message. Hee~.
In Japan, it is breach of manners to let one's towel touch the water, so some people fold it atop one's head.
