Tali's Blessed Event...
From the pages of TaliVisions #3...
Tali lies in bed on the planet Itania, waiting for the man she hasn't seen in nearly nine months.
Boy, is HE in for a surprise...
A little backstory here: When I created Tali back in 1987, I decided to poke a little fun at the then current trend for stories about lonely human guys scoring with hot furry babes with no consequences whatsoever. When Tali was introduced, she was nine months pregnant with Matt's twins...which was a surprise to both Matt and his steady gal, Lowchan... All turned out well, though, and the Mason-Hartoh menage is a happy (if somewhat unconventional) one... :)

Ahh, she looks very good being in the family way, as it were.
And as far as I know, that's not just a furry thing. Since the first Penny Dreadfuls, Dime Novels and Pulp mags rolled out the biggest new thing was Arabic/Asian/White African/Green Space babes taking it from the two-fisted super hero explorers. With no babies, or VD. That's why I loved the song "Space Hero" by... I believe Leslie Fish wrote it. I forget the singer. Just the fact that it mentions "the new kinds of VD" in a broader parody of pulp sci space adventure. Fish's "Spaceman's dilemma" is also funny but for an entirely different reason.

You got a leg up on Hardiman's Val by a good decade or so. Good on ya.
Incidentally, I wish I could get you "Spaceman's Dilemma" and "Space Hero." I think you, uniquely, would appreciate them, being a fan from way back when the sci-fi cons (And their filk circles) were more common. Kthanid did an illustrated series on "Spaceman's Dilemma" and I'll see if I can give you the lyrics to "Space Hero" via note.
