My bloodline knows too well the suffering that can come from neglect. My father once served as a monster and villain, seeking to justify his own mother’s disregard. Misery came unending, until my mother found his broken form and brought him back to a semblance of his old self.

Since I was born he told me the value of cherishing and protecting my family, and I will not let those teachings go to waste. I will not let a soul harm my sisters. No matter the enemy’s number, I shall stand in stark defiance to protect that which is most valuable to me.

I fight for bonds of blood and bone. I push forward to ensure the safety of my kin. As long as I can stand, no one, be they man or pokemon, shall ever bring harm onto my family. Pray for those who make the attempt.

Mako stands as a pretty stark contrast to his sister Derra. He's violent, short tempered, and he's got a very foul mouth...and it's all courtesy of his father. However, Mako does care deeply about his family, and he would never do anything to hurt or endanger them. As such he does have a kinder side to him, and he very much enjoys acting as the eldest of the siblings even though they are all the same age.

Of course the quickest way to get on his bad side is to threaten either of his sisters. Mako is one of the strongest fighters in the group, and like Flint he's very happy to make use of any weapons he finds on the battlefield. Combine that with the fact he has twin tentacles and a pair of wings...well you might not last long against this enraged buizel. Oh yeah...he's still a buizel by the way...so just imagine how much more brutal he'll be when he evolves.

And as the readers of Besieged might know, he does in fact have a love of music every since he..."procured" an Ipod off of an Empire goon. Since getting the thing, Mako almost always has it in at least one of his ear holes, playing something either rock or metal. Unfortunately he still hasn't found the water type music, but he isn't complaining.
