There really is no backstory to this but if there was its that this fox girl is the heir to the throne of a kingdom in war and the king refuses to let her rule at all, therefore she takes matters into her own hands and tries to prove herself woman enough/man enough to rule the throne on her own so she enlists on a one year expedition with her country's army. Unfortunately her father had fallen victim to large amounts of stress and died from a heart attack leaving the throne empty. Normally she would have taken full responsibility of the land but a snoody undertaker sir Liolonce had taken control in her absence and hired a band of underground mercenaries to kill her in order to lock in his unrightfull place as ruler of the land. Hundreds of miles away from home and now with most of the land now controlled by the Tao Meng Warriors, no thanks to Liolince, Our little fox friend has to fight everyone and anyone she meets in order to take back her homeland.
