I've fallen before, I've been victim to my own actions and my own desires before, however, watching the clouds part before me it seems different, the feelings are all still there, only this time I'm far from afraid, the earth below me is rising quickly and honestly I couldn't care any less.
I lost my wings for a reason, I left them behind for something far greater, little do the others understand that as I plummet faster and faster to the mortal realm I'm only coming to grips with myself, not in shame, not in regret, but by taking away that which made me endless I've gained something far greater.

I might now be limited to time, but now I can see beyond that of my own actions, I can see the eather as we move, I can hear the heartbeat of imaginary beings, where the heavens have closed to me, where the skies limited me, the universe opened, wider than I could have imagined. Power is not what makes the being, nor is it time. End gives life meaning, having an end justifies ones existence all together.

Without end, our actions have no meaning, only time to reflect on what could have been, and what should have been.

I might not have my wings, but I now have meaning.
