This features The Sign Maker, a mysterious evil entity that has been plaguing Naka since his fall from the Aether. Fan theory is that Naka's Friend is Sign Maker. If Friend does turn out to be The Sign Maker, then my head cannon says that he looks like Quote from Cave Story, since Naka's skin is that of Curly Brace.
Naka's hand sucks. I kept redrawing it, but it's a fail.
