Billy Boi is a Toy. He, she, it, ?, starts off shy, but once Billy gets to know you then the fun begins!
My latest costume ensemble, actually a revisiting/revising of a character first done in 2010. I've had more time to ponder just what it is like to be a toy, a playmate designed to serve and pleasure its human (or non-human) owner. Billy is molded into a humanoid shape, with an indistinct gender purposefully engineered into the look. This way, the owner can dress it up and accessorize Billy in any fashion desired. Fluid, flexible, versatile.
I can readily say that servitude has been on my mind very often as of late. How it can devolve into mere slavery, or become elevated to near equality. Even with its bright colors and sunny disposition, one has to wonder what Billy really thinks of its role in life. Does it have a soul? Does it wish to rebel?
As for the costume, I used a hot pink spandex zentai suit as the base, added a LOT of brightly colored/striped clothing and accessories, and used the CFX silicone Dollface mask as the head, topped with a Japanese punk rock wig. One can easily get girly in this getup, which is part of the fun really! I have been exploring crossdressing roles, and this one certainly fits the bill, even going past that into a more genderqueer nature.

Also, these dressups serve the additional purpose of taking what's in my head and giving them tangible form. I am fair to middling at drawing, but have done photography for many years, so this is the best way for me to depict a character concept. And once in costume I can talk, act and think as that character, and come up with great ideas that mere writing could not provide without that firsthand experience. It's very transformative!

That mask is pretty weird though (but you knew that). Doesn't hardly look like a mask, but you can tell there is something "off" about the face just from the thumbnail.

Some subtle Photoshopping to blend the eyes better and give the lips more color help to fuse the mask to me. I also brought up my own eyes a bit more so that it looks like a real person with a plastic face. Hence the weirdness!
I actually checked lulznet to see the reaction. Rather muted I must say, though I'm sure many viewers were guided here because of it. I'm ok with this!

Though, I must say, a lot of the comments don't look like they are from Lulz (not clever or insulting enough), but what do I know.
I think you may have just brought in a lot of views off the front page.
Why? Because people saw what looked like a boy. A boy with a weird face who wears stripped gloves.
Thus, their first instinct is to investigate.
On the flip side, if it was weird diaper porn, they might have passed it over without a second thought.
You can see that all over the place, but this is one of a kind.

I see no reason to forcibly shove a concept down someone's throat. A levelheaded presentation gives everyone a chance to make up their own mind about the work. I unveil it, step back, and watch the proceedings smiling like a Buddha!
