Here are some shots of the top row of teeth. In the top picture you can see the indent on the molars that is a telltale sign of if the the teeth belong on the right or left side. The outer side of the teeth is smooth, while the inner side is a bit concave where the top and bottom rows touch in the closed position. For larger canines it's relatively easy to see where all the incisors fit. The top row of incisors have a shorter more curved root, where the bottom ones are straight. Even the placement is quite obvious. The smallest two are the two front teeth, and they get larger towards the edges.
The molars might give you a bit of trouble, but remember these teeth each have their own place in the jaw, and one will fit better than the other, so just toy around with it for a bit. If you ever doubt yourself you can always use hot glue, or white glue to affix them, in case you are wrong and get more skilled in the future you can always go back and fix up your mistake.
