I wouldn’t say I’m as smart as all my friends claim. They’re the ones who really do the amazing stuff…I just…I am who I am. I’d like to think I’m quick thinking, that I can manage in several situations, but that’s only because they’re there to help. Mom used to say I got all my brains from her…all the other adults say I definitely inherited my dad’s thinking power. Really though, I’m just a normal poochyena.

I like singing, though only when I’m alone, my brother’s heard me a couple of times though. He says I’m good, but I think he’s just being nice. I also like meditating…I know only psychic pokemon really do it, but it’s really calming for me. I like hearing stories, especially romantic ones…just between you and me, I really hope I can meet my own pretty heroine…though I hope she retires soon after meeting me. I’m not really as big of a fan of adventure as the others are.

I’m not my mom. I’m not my dad. I’m not Rein, or Azur, or Derra, or Blair. I’m not Taze or Flint or Mako. I’m not like any of their parents. I’m just me…I’m Cryst.

Where as Rein inherited heavily from him mother, with the smooth talking of his pops. Cryst inherited her dad's intellect...and whatever her mom could supply. To put in simply, she's very smart and she's a very quick thinker. She can easily read tactical situations and respond to them appropriately. Her exploit in the latest chapter of Besieged more than proves this.

She also has this slight thing with her that isn't really seen in the story that much. She's more than a bit bashful and shy. I haven't touched on it much in the story cause she's always around the others and that's where she feels most comfortable. That's not to say she's got low self esteem, she's just a bit intimidated of meeting new people. She'd have no trouble finding her voice if you say something mean about her friends or family.

Oh, and she's a lesbian. Did you guys remember that little detail that I've mentioned about...maybe once? Yeah...she likes girls! I'm so proud of myself that I never made that a major part of her character cause it is, in fact, not important.
