Pride the Lion looking more buff then his plushy counterpart.

Picked an awkwardly flat angle to draw from so I could get this foot shot that hasn't been shown in any of my art before. Was worth doing to see if I could get it too look right.

Being a topical picture, it will have lost some of its initial charm now that the Olympics are over so it can live in the scraps folder.

Now that's more like it! I was irked that there was no good-looking lion mascot for this sporting event I could give a plushie of as a gift.

I had no idea that was our mascot this olympics, personally I prefer the african mascot XD But that doesn't take the fact away that this piece is really excellent! Brill job Footpaws ^^

YES! Love that folks are drawing him, and even better to see such nice attention on his footpaws. ^_^ This is a great take on him, and interesting to see the different interpretations of the character. This particular pose is such an awesome one for teasing the viewer with his paws. Great job!

This pose pops up a lot during the event. It was a good way of hiding the naughty bits while showing all the goody bits.
Also hes the first lion to make it into this gallery so there were many reasons to make this one come to life.

Great pose logic. ^_^ He's an excellent choice to bring a lion to the gallery. Wonder if the paws work toward extra points in a furry version of this event?

Im sure the monkeys will have a distinct natural advantage in this event so its only right to give paws a little extra cred for not being an additional pair of hands.
