The two men were married on Yavin 4, but their honeymoon was short lived, as the first Death Star entered the system. Luck, was however on the side the two lovers, as neither were deployed as fighterpilots. Later, they served together at the Battle of Hoth and finally came to the attention of General Marcus Starkiller. They now live together in shared quarters aboard the MC80a Starkiller's Pride. While Jace is now a fighter pilot with Raptor Squadron, Felis was given command of Mynock Battalion, a SpecOps team assigned missions from boarding enemy vessels to ground assault operations.
