I know she's a magical horse made of magic, but even that doesn't justify her carrying around a revolver which requires at least one thumb to operate properly. x3
Maybe she should just be carrying the bullets around and use her magic to fling them at enemies via telekinesis or something.

Actually I wonder if the gun would be better.
If she uses telekinesis to just toss bullets at enemies, she has to get the bullets and then throw them.
I bet there is some sort of concentration going on to do that. Even if the bullets were in a holder, you still have to look for the next bullet to toss.

Might be easier to grab a gun,hold it steady, aim and pull the trigger.
You do not have to look for the next bullet unless you used them all.

Have seen pictures of unicorns with bows and arrows and that might be more work.

Work is an important idea because during fights you do not have time to do a lot of stuff, point and shoot is the best. Depends on the tech level too. Of course the gun could also just magically make its own bullets when the barrel is empty.

Just an idea.
