I can see what people like about the show, but can't understand where all the rule 34 MLP: FiM stuff comes from.

I've seen the first couple of episodes, i can see what people like about the characters, but i can't understand the sheer number of followers

In response to the kickstarter you mentioned, I haven't heard of it and I haven't seen the details. However what I can say is starting a documentary with the express purpose of making the fandom look good is just as bad as a documentary to make them look bad (like the ones furries get). The best documentaries are as unbiased as possible, if you're a fan of something than you will not be able to make an unbiased documentary.

the kickstarter John Delanice is NOT a brony he just want to set the Bronies, the good ones in a good light cause the fans are getting bashed by fox and the like.

Also putting people in an exclusively good light is a bias. You have to show both sides of the story for it to be unbiased.

no no it's just that it paints the whole fandom in that light I know in every fandom there are people that make you shake your head and sigh and feel ashame to be in the same fandom. It's that they point out the extreme people not the normal people.

Well being part of a fandom is taking the good with the bad, showing only good things and hiding the bad is more something I'd expect of a PR shill.
