Well, when it's a habit or it's worldwide accepted and common it can't be considered odd =P It's like a different culture. But, in this case, everyone live in the same house and live together with each other for a long time.
I follow the idea that furries don't use clothes, but I'm considering to put clothes on them in some situations as big events, like a dinner in a 5 stars restaurant or a wedding.
But now you left me very thoughtful about the topic "have sometime to put on when company was around, to at least be decent".

but it also makes me wonder, if everyone at the table wasn't wearing clothes would it be considered decent, since everyone would be on level ground. fur is sort of like natures clothing, but clothing describes something that is not natural. natural cover is the term for fur, it still satisfies, the cover of one's body, but it also allows the freedom to choose how to "dress" one's self. decency depends one the situation, in this case, fur is a suitable covering for one's body. to think humans, once had fur as well covering their bodies, but they shed the fur for their "clothing".
