As you may or may not know, I am an avian admirer. (try saying that five times real fast!)

I have a never ending adortion for these feathered creatures, weither they be tiny zebra striped finches, or a big beautiful Scarlet Macaw.

I was in a strong mood to draw a bird of some sort, and work with a traditional media. It was done in pastel chalk and just a tiny bit of colored pencil. I'm very proud of this piece. It took me roughly three hours from start to finish.
